Vale Steve Jones

Lockyer Valley Mayor Steve Jones passed away on Saturday 20 March 2016 following a massive stroke on Thursday 18 March.

We pay tribute to Steve and recognise his contribution not only to the Lockyer Valley but to the Queensland Transport Museum. Our deepest sympathy goes to his wife Ann, his children and immediate family.

Steve's hard work and enthusiasm for the Transport Museum will be sadly missed. We have lost a man of integrity and drive who has left many lasting legacies.  One of them being our magnificent Cultural Centre and Transport Museum in Gatton.
